Gasopslag Nederland is a representative organisation of gas storage operators and developers. The founders are Eneco Gasspeicher, Gasunie Zuidwending and Gas Storage Bergermeer. As of October 2012 Etzel-Kavernenbetriebsgesellschaft is also a member of the organisation and as of September 2013 innogy Gas Storage NWE (former RWE Gasspeicher). All members have a connection agreement with the operator of the national gas transmission network (GTS).

Eneco Gasspeicher

cc3c6ad3-236d-5480-bc98-d97ae9e3d57eEneco Gasspeicher is an underground gas storage facility in salt caverns. Eneco Gasspeicher’s gas storage installation is built approximately three kilometres from the German-Dutch border in the German municipality of Epe. Eneco has leased two caverns here from SGW (Salzgewinnungsgesellschaft Westfalen).

Gasunie Zuidwending
